Wonderful testimony given to a faithful woman

By hearing other people's testimonies, it makes me think, " Why am I complaining? Why do I think my life is sometimes so hard?"

I saw the lady who was raised up by a single mom. She chose to be in orphanage when her mom past away. She was still 14 year-old at that time.

After graduating from high school, she moved to Germany to obtain a nanny job for an American couple who were working in American base there. She stayed there for 3 years while saving money for college.

After coming back from Germany, she went to college, worked hard and strain her life by herself until she met the one who was going to marry her.

In one year after their engagement, which was a little before their marriage, her fiance past away.

She has also been struggling from a lot of complications regarding her health now so that she can not expect to obtain a decent job.

Regardless of these all hardships throughout her life, she stands still upon God's Word and says, " God is great!" with her beautiful shining eyes and smile.

She continues, " I did not even think my life is so unique and different until you( Tsukasa) told me. I have been to different countries for mission trips and saw children lying on the bed without getting any attention, care and love. Compared to those, I know my mom. I know my mom loved me. My mom also told me about God. My life is much better than those who do not know anybody around. I believe we are all children of God. It does not matter where you are from. American, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish or whatever, we all deserve to be loved by the same God, Jesus Christ. I really want people know that each of us is so precious in Him and want to keep working for the name of Jesus Christ. "

I got just stunned and could not say any words for a while when she finished her story. To me, the fact that she does not even think that her life is different or hard is amazing. In addition, she is not mad at God. She is thankful to all matters happened in her life and wants people to know God who gives us strength, courage, love, grace and hope. Because the God's presence working in her heart, she is like who she is. It is all about God's amazing work. Thank you, Lord, for working in her life. Please keep protecting her from anything which disturbs the relationship with you and guiding her according to your will. You are almighty God, above all. Praise to your name. Amen.
Amazing.

P.S She did not mind sharing her testimony and attaching video clip of orphanage where she was. I appreciate if you remember this facility and kids there in your prayer.

What did I do??????

What did I do?

Nothing!!

Do I deserve to be loved so much?

No!

Then why are people so sweet and kind to me?

I do not know!

God, why do you bring such great and wonderful people into my life?

I did nothing and feel I do not deserve to recieve all gifts from you, father.

Today, ladies from my church took me to a exellent restaurant near the pier. They offered me a delicious dish of fried fish, french fries and coleslaw. Those were awesome!

Then, they gave me a lot of cards and gifts!

I am not moving to anywhere else! I am just going back to Japan for a while.

Regardless of how long I am out of town, they said they wanted to give me a good-by party!

Isn't it amazing?

People are so great. I mean people God allow me to meet are inspiring and delightful.

They are mature in the faith, so I am always encouraged and strengthened in the faith.

I am just overwhelmed!

Now I do not know what I can do for them and for God!!!!!!!!!!

Well I definitely keep praying for them even though I am not with them for a while and ask God
to keep blessing them and protect them as well.

I always think it is awesome to be a Christian because I feel we are all same as children of God regardless of where you are from, race, or even age!

We worship one great God, our great savior, Jesus Christ and there is no boundary between us in Christ.

It is great!

Again, I would like to say thank you to those ladies who spent time with me, gave great cards or gifts today and also to other members of Cross Point Fellowship Church in Bradenton.

I feel I am at home at the church and blessed.
I will be definitely missing great friends in Bradenton!

May the Lord Bless you!!!
I dedicate all my love and gratitude to God.

Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart. My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end. Psalm 119:111-112

New Season has come again!

I want to say congratulation to my great fiathful friends, Mike and Jen:D

Mike graduated from RTS and completed his master degree of biblical counseling.

Last 2 years Mike worked so hard for his education, works and voluntary jobs for Japanese ministry. He is very driven and willing to serve to others for God's glory.

Also I was also inspired about Jen's faituful atttitude as a wife. She is very supportive, understanding and sweet to her husband, Mike. She is such a godly and faituful women and I believe Mike would not be able to achieve his goal without her faituful encouragement.

Whenever I see them, I could see how much God love them and bless their marriage relationship. Very Beautiful. They have been a good model of Chirstian marriage, and it meant a lot to me. Thank you so much!!

I miss you them so much since they are moving to Maryland, but I believe God will highly use them regardless of where they are at, and people who see them will be able to see Christ.

I am so thankful to God who let us meet here in Orland and work together through Japanese Ministry.

I also enjoyed attending to RTS commencement because God offered a re-union type of meeting with people whome I have not been able to see for a while!!!

I have been really encouraged in the faith by God this week especially from the scriptures of Dueteronomy. Mose keeps reminding us to remember what God has done for us. Because of what he has done for us, we need to be strong in the faith, obedient and active in action for God's kingdom.
He constantly tells us,

Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the LORD your God gives you for all time. Dueteronomy 4:40

Keep his decrees and commands!!!

Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them. Dueteronomy 4:9

Mike and Jen are definitely people who faitufully follow God's command and leave the righteousness and truth on their journey with thier footsteps. A little Tyler must have already started seeing it!!

God bless you!!!

I have been really blessed at the church in Bradenton.

My English is not still good enough to do as much as other native speakers do, but the members of this church trust me and allow me to be involved in serving at the church.

Prayer meeting on Wedneseday nights, for example, I tend to hesitate to pray in the big group of people in English. I worry if they do not understand what I pray about and it just makes me so nervous.

So I have tended to avoid having eye contact from the person who asks prayer.

Yet, Pastor Bob is different. He says, "Tsukasa you can pray for us tonight. I know you can do it."
I felt, "Oh my goodness! Did he perticularly call my name as a prayer?" but he was not hursh. Instead he aked me to do it gently.

I know my prayer was not organaized, but people were so patient and encouraged me to do so.
After having a prayer, I felt blessed horizontal relationship with people in addition to vertical relathionship with God.

Now people ask me to be incharge of doing powepoints for worship music or sermon lecture during Sunday service sometimes.
Especially putting proper slide shows on the screen during sermon is challenging for me. Pastor Bob speaks so fast and just catching up his words is sometimes maximum I can do. Catching up the words is not necesarrily that I am understanding. So I thought again it is impossible!!!

I prayed about it, thought it must be again God's offering to me and decided to receive that offering. Thanks to encouragement from members of the church, I am getting to be used to do it!

I believe these little works for church are also coming from God and I am thankful to God who allows me to do things like that at church. Also I am thankful to members of the church who trust me and allow me to do. Thank you very much for their patience!!

My works are so tiny things; however, I feel more joyful if I could see more things I can do at the church. Thank you Lord for your guidance to this great church in Bradenton!!!

Paul tells us that each of us is like a organ in the body and emphasizes that the little parts are vital to perform a function of body syetem which is a metaphor of human society.

21The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" 22On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it.

Isnt it incredible and merciful words from God??? Amen!!!!!!!!!!

I have not been able to update my blog constantly any more since this semester started. I feel like this semester is the hardest one I have ever taken. Every day is like the repetition of reading and writing. I even feel I do not want to open my lap top if it is not necessary... English has been killing me....

It is a time of finals, but my mind can not be focused on studying since I just can not stop thinking about kids that I have been taking care of this week at church. So I decided to organize my heart while updating my blog and hopefully I can clear up my mind and get more focus later on.

Since I got a permission that I could attach some pictures of kids in my blog, I did it.
Look at those adorable kids!!!

They were abusolutely cute kids and I have already been missing them so much!
Unfortunately today was last day that I can see them and I just feel very sad.

Actually, Keyla who is two-year-old girl calls me " Mami-!"
How wouderful sound it is!!!!
Just cute.
I felt I became a real mom for her and just got into her so much.

In Japanese bible study of this week, we leaned about faithful action.
We need to produce actions as christian by faith.

Even if you say, " I have faith!" but did not have appropriate action according to whatever you say, people would not see great Christ's natures such as love, peace, steadfastness, patience or righteousness from us.

Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:15-17

Honestly, I was hesitating to take this role when I was asked while saying, " Wait a minute! It has been busy. Let me think." However, this verse helped me to make a dicision and decided to obey the Lord.

As a result, God has blessed me so much and I could not even control my joyful and thankful heart!

Lord is just wonderful. He multiplies blessings or grace no matter how small our works are.Only thing I could do is just to play with kids, but it was such a blessing.
I also would like to say thank you to those kids who gave me big smilings and laughing coming from their pure heart. Those were very special.

I thought I wish the day that I am really called "Mami-!" comes sometime soon.....!?
After sharing my blog to Uncle Urvin, my host father, he said, "Get marry first." It is
understandable. I pray for my marriage....:D

prayer

Let me just devote my gratitude to the Lord.

" Why is God taking care of me so well? Why does he bless me so much? I do not deserve to

receive all of his grace or blessings if I think about my past. He does not only forgive me but also

continue blessing me. I just do not understand. I would like to ask God to let me humble before

him since I am too happy. I am too joyful! I am afraid if I boast myself. God, please help me

that my heart always remember your cross. Help me that I can look for something I can do for

my precious friends or family as well. Let me keep praying for your glory and help to pray for

my great brothers and siters."

Nothing special happened, but I am too satisfied with full of joy and holy spirit. I thought I need

to ask my friends to pray for me so that I do not boast myself.

That is about it.

希望の力 the power of hope

A scripture given from Today's devotion is below.

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
( Roma 8:24-25)

This scripture reminded me about a conversation I had with my friende in Japan.

Only three of us including me is still single out of 10 girls best friends from my nursing school.

So three of us decided to travel together and talked different things, but gilrs mainly like to talk about something romantic stories that we have.

But!!! I do not have a boyfriend. I do not have any boy's friend whom I perticurally consider any romantic relationship either. My friends concerned about me so much.

They said, " I can not say much about you, but are you really ok???''

I loughed so hard and said, " I am completely fine!! I do not worry because it'll happen when the time comes!!"
They frowned.

One of the girl had a relationship with a guy who had a kind of complicated isues and broke up.
The other girl has been dating with the same boy friend a long, long time, but nothing procceded.
Additionally they even said that they might not be able to find anyone they like if they lose the contact with a guy who is in contact now or the guy who cares about them might not appear forever!!!

Oh my goodness. You are the ones who have problem!!!! " Excuse me, are you ok???"
That I want to say to them.

Then one of girls said, " You are too optimistic. You have the worst situation than anybody else, but you do not worry. It is strange that you can still hope!!"

Thank you, thank you, thank you, the Lord! Amen.
That is right!

We have hope!!!

My heart is full of joy because of the hope that God has given to me.
I did not even realize it until she said that.
So I am thankful to my friends as well!

In the devotion, it tells us a study result from prisoners in a shelter. The examiners devided prisoners into 2 groups, and they kept giving negative information to one group and positive one to another group. Negative information was such as the death of family members or friends, multiple death from terrorist or war.)

The study showed that prisoners given negative infomation started being pale, depressed and even thinking suicide. On the other hand, prisoners given positive infomation started having more hope and being eager to survive.

Our heart becomes more joyful and passionate when hope is given.

And the hope that Christian is given is eternal. It is never destroyed and perished.
We can seek for living because of unchangeable eternal hope given by God.
How strong courage it is for us to live on the earth if we have it in our heart!!!

Jesus answered, " Anyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but who ever drinks the water that I give him will never thirst. In deed the water I give him become in him spring of water welling up to the eternal life."
( John 4:13)

We tend to focus on something which is happening at this moment and suffere from it.
I would like to be thankful to anything happening on the earth and overcome traials with my joy due to the hope he gives me! Help me Lord:D

Oops!

I did not realize how long it has been since I updated my blog last time.

I can not even describe so many things that God has done briefly either.

I came back to the U.S.A in Jan 1, moved to Bradenton and started atttending to new school here.

God provided new great chirstian family here and I have been supported by them.
I am very sure that God will encourage and strength my faith through this wonderful christian family more.

It has been about one month, but God has already shown his presence and great works through my prayer.

First of all, it is about my host parents. My host dad is about 80 and his wife is about the middle of 70. Their age is double as much as my age. However, they are just powerful!! They actively join different kinds of activities from their church, help people, pray for the others, nourish their faith from bible study and do more devotion at home. Amazing!!! I feel like I am behind.

Then, God has been giving me really really good friends at school or church. He even offered Japanese Christian couple!!!

Additionally Japanese bible study started to be held at my house!!

It has been just one month since I moved to Bradenton, but he has aleady provided more than I was expecting. To me, it is almost miracle that we deserve to receive God's mercy and blessings like this.

God is very sweet.

God is merciful.

God is a comforter.

Another essential point of our great God is that he cares each one of us. He takes care of each individuals no matter how many people are on this earth.

We do not have to try to be more special or superior to the other, and we do not have to be necessarily extremely bad either. God is capable enough to approve each individuals as a child of God, and he gives his support, help and guidance to the rigteousness.

"Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins[a] and loses one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? 9And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.' 10In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." Luke 15:4-6

I am not sharing this as a result of my experience or probability.
I am sharing this because God says so.

I belive God has power to fullfil his promises.

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. Roma4:20-21

up date

( Scroll down for English)

Dear My Friends

I am so sorry that I have not been in contact for a while with some of you.

I graduated from school in May, finished all board exams and went back to Japan to take a summer break. However, I needed to stay in Japan longer since I was diagnosed with Graves Disease.  My primary physician suggested that focusing on treatments is the most important for me right now so I decided to extend my stay in Japan longer until my physical condition became more stable.

On the top of being diagnosed with Graves’ disease, my mom fainted, became unconscious and lost her memory temporarily while she was working. She was delivered and admitted to the hospital.

Because of these issues, staying in Japan was the best for me and it was God's will through my prayer.

I was almost paralyzed when my mom's episode happened and had very difficult days to understand God's will, but both of us are doing well and we have been given very peaceful days.

We still do not know the exact cause of my mom’s symptoms yet. I consulted with my friend who is a brain surgeon about this episode with my mom, but he thinks it shouldn’t happen again.  She went back to her work now and we just depend on God.

I am still in the middle of treatments for my Graves Disease. I have been learning other alternative treatments on the top of western medication now and have also been trying those.
There were difficult days for me to understand why it happened and to trust God.   I kept asking God about his will and crying.
However, I can now understand patients' frustration, pain, struggles or physical difficulties.

As most of you know, I love the medical field and I have been believing that this is the only gift that I can show God's glory and I really think God really agreed with it.
I always felt I do not have many talents, but he gave me a great one to this sinful girl.  Whenever I am at the hospital, my heart is always filled up with my joy and gratitude to God.  Also he really helped me to be nourished in the medical field in the U.S.A as well. To me, it is almost a miracle because he is the one who forgives our sins from the past and even fills up our life with his blessings. Therefore, I wanted to do my best for God and was passionate about being used in the medical field.
Especially after graduation and being certified as RRT, my heart was full of excitement and hope of God's plan for my life.

On the other hand, my body was not able to follow my feelings. My heart was beating really really fast. I sometimes could not even climb up the stairs of the station. I needed to stop.  I had difficulty breathing because of that. I fainted due to hypoglycemia. My fingers started trembling so that I needed to stop writing.

Once I realized these kinds of changes in my physical condition, I felt really really sad. I wondered what God has been thinking. I just could not see God's will in these events and I was very discouraged in the faith because I felt God was taking my favorite thing away from me again. I really thought that God was taking my nursing job away from me.  I got really disappointed.

Just understanding the fact of the disease was difficult for me. Then my mom fainted.
I just had a broken heart.  I shouted to the Lord.  " I do not want to have any more challenges! I’ve had enough!!!"

I experienced that just believing God and trusting God is difficult.  It is very easy to say, but very very difficult to really do so.
I could not do that for a while.

It has been about 3 months.  I have finally started being able to see God's will.  It was after a lot of arguments with God.

God is not trying to take my favorite nursing job away from me.  He wants me to understand people struggling from disease or sickness.

I have listened to a speech of one of the famous Christian physicians in Japan before.  He said, " medical staff should have some kind of physical issues which are controllable and do not cause too much complications”.

Now I can understand what he meant.
Our job is usually available compared to other jobs.  We receive pretty reasonable salary and we can establish our fame or classification in the society.
It is very easy for medical staff to boast about ourselves.

However, we need to stand on the same standard as the patients and are required to have a humble attitude to understand them like Jesus did to us.

I finally understand how frightening and painful it is if we have heart or breathing issues. I now know how frustrating it can be if our life is regulated because of disease.  It is not fun to live with long-term medication. So I can be sweeter to patients. God let me be humble.  God gives me more wisdom so that I want to try to think what kind of desire each patient has and how we can help.

The hospital I work at has a long-term patients. Communication builds up trustworthy relationships which are not easy sometimes.  People's smile during their disease condition is very impressive and beautiful. I would appreciate if you remember diseased people in your prayers somehow.

Since I am required to rest for a while, I decided to stay in Japan until the end of December. I work at the hospital and receive treatments for myself at the same time.
I am planning to go back to U.S.A and continue finishing my next degree.  Since I need to take care my health really carefully, I would like to narrow down the things to do.  I prayed about Japanese Ministry and I think God has prepared other great brothers and sisters to lead now, so I decided to pass the leading of JM to those great brothers and sisters.

I believe there are so many thing I would not be able to do throughout JM activities, but I am thankful to God who has given me great advisers and supporters to continually do JM. I keep praying that Japanese ministry will be used for a part of God's kingdom and people will be healed, encouraged and nourished in their faiths.

Since we are all sinners, but know righteousness, there is a time that we feel disappointed about ourselves. However, the love of our great God is much greater than that.
He is the one who gave us life and brought us to this earth; He knows who we are. If we have any troubles, we just need to ask his help honestly.  My heart was unfaithful and it sounds such an unbelievable gospel to believe, but I experienced that his mercy and love is amazing. He puts his hand in front of us, helps us and lets us know He is always with us.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. Psalm32:8

Curry Party
View from my room!

A little harber near my station

Seashore

Great co-workers!

I am so sorry that I have not bee in contact for a while. I guess some people wondered where I went. It was very ver deep summer for me in diffrent ways and became a great opportunity for me to take more time to pray and ask God's will for my life.

So many events were going on and I do not know how I can start sharing my story of this summe.

Well..let me explain where I was at.
I was in the country side of Japan where was the most south of Shizuoka prefecture. They have a serious shortage of medical proffessionals and there were only 2 regular doctors at my hospital.

Let me tell the conclusion of country side of Japan. It is just different world of Japan from one I know in dwontown.

It takes one and a half hour to get to the church.

There is no supermarket near the station, either.

The view around there is gorgeous since the place is near seashore. Hotsprings are here and there and some of them are even free.

There are somany fishermen in the littel town and they are really friendly.
Vegetables and fruit are very fresh too.
If I take a walk in that town and meet people, people give me fruit or vegetables which were cultivated in there even though I do not know them!!

The train line is just simple one line. The train sometimes has to wait until the other one pass.
It goes along the seashores of Shizuoka Island to get to my station, and the ocian view is just going on and on. Amazing.

We someimes receive gifts from patients or their family members.
What we receive is.............FISH!!!!!!!!!!!
Very interesting. Yes I can see his little mouth, eye and tails....hum...

Wher I received three big fishes, one really really big fish , seaweed and another special type of seeweed to make gello in one package, I was just surprised!!!!!
It is just intresting!

。。I have never seen that kind of gift before.

People from country side of Japan do something different! It is just a cultural shock. Ifelt like that even though I am not a foreigner in Japan.

Anyway, interesting things has been going on, but I can see so many blessings from God and a big plan from God in there.

Since my personal internet conection is not avaialble in that country side, I barely could chek my e-mail while I was working and have time to do so.
Now I am Olando and have time to update....hopefully/
I am thinkign that'll be geate if I can share my difficult time in faith during summer and how God
helped me so that I can rely on him more.

Because there is somebody we care about, we sometimes feel dissapointed, depressed and even hopeless when something unexpect happens.

Because we are serious about God, we sometime become very emotional with God.
I believe it is ok.

My unfaithful record.

God's much bigger love in our unfaituful nature.

I wish God helps to restore our faith for somehow by sharing my experience with God.

Many times he delivered them, but they were bent on rebellion and they wasted away in their sin.
But he took note of their distress when he heart their cry;
For their sake he remembered his covernant and out of his great love he relented.
Psalm 106:43-45

The process of faithful growths is different. We do not have to compare.
God loves you no matter who you are.
I could understand that amazing gospel from our great God throughout this summer again.

Thank you, the Lord.

Beach in the rain

Today I went to the ocean with kids from my church.

This is my first visit to the sea in Japan since I came back to home.

However, the weather of this week in Yokoham is cloudy.

Anyway we decided to go to the sea even though it is cloudy unless it is not raining.

Well...it tunrned into a blessing rainy day after we arrived at the beach.

In spite of such a strong rain, kids' power is stronger!

They do not care about the rain. They were busy from catching fishes or crabs.

It remeinds me when I was a kid.

I realized the adults tend to forget about enjoying the nature which is given by God.

Whenever we go to natural area, we then realize that all creatures are created by God.

Natures from God's grace.

We should be thankful more and enjoy natures.

I felt that I learned thankful mind toward the natures form kids today:D

Now I feel like I want to strech my body in the grace of nature and enjoy it more!!

Be thankful to all creaturs that God made for us!!

He blessed them all and told the creatures that live in water to reproduce and to fill the sea, and he told the birds to increse in number. Genesis 1:22

Gogeous Wedding in Japan!

It has been for a while since I attended to a pretty gougeous wedding last time in Japan.

I could tell it costed a lot. She changed her dresses three times in total a day!!

Here is Japan, so everything was very organized and went on time.

Decorations were pretty and gougeous and looked cleanly.

Especially I really liked the wedding ceremoney room which as a big cross on the window. The blind was raised up when they started promising a marrige each other.
The big view from the window was very beautiful and the cross on the window looked
floted in the air!

Sad part is that I have heard that the pastor at hotel in Japan is usually fake and
a part time worked as a English speaker.

We read bible scripture of 1 Cor 13:4 in Japanese at first. Then everybody closed eyes and listened to the prayer from Pastor. However prayer was English; therefore, only a few people would be able to understand what he was saying.

Who can say Amen after prayer?
How peoplw would be able to say Amen after listening to English based prayer? It would be difficult to figure out the closing of prayer. Nobody might not even know if we supposely say Amen in the end of prayer though....

It was awkeward to me.

Anyway I prayed in my heart by myself and asked God to bless their marriage.

We would be able to sing well for them as well....!?
It was very wonderful and beautiful wedding of my friend today!!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
1Cor13:4

Age is not matter to be a witness of Christ

I still remember I used to think this old women is very beautiful and wonderful even though I was not Christian yet back then but was in the service at my church.
I do not know why I felt something was different to this women, but I felt so whenever I was seeing her from behind.

This old lady was very very tiny and leaning toward since her back was bent. It was quite impressive that this little women was sitting on the chair.

She always looked calm and peaceful and was listening to the sermon very carefully.

I always wondered why I can not see any bitterness or tiredness from her.

Then, I finally realized that was God's works.

Love and Peace.

I am sure that she went through a lot of trials or challenges in her life; however, the Lord was showing his victory which overcomes anrything with his healings and grace.

The Lord was giving me his deep mercy and love through her as well.

This old lady is too aged to come to church now. She also stays at nursing home.

I decided to visit her and encourage the faith each other!!!

Her dimentia has been progresed; therefore, our conversation was sometimes confused.
However, amazing thing is that she cries a lot whenever we talk about God!

I felt that the Lord definitely lives in her heart and she also has a deep heart to the Lord:D

I guess this lady told us that the age is not matter to shaw the the glory of God.

Even if we are aged and have physical difficulties, our Lord is always with us and show his great love, peace or hope with his holy spirit.

I am very thankful to this old lady and the Lord.

I also appreciate to old generation who has helped us to be guided to the Lord.

I had been living in a domitory when I was a nursing student in Japan.

Living togetehr with many firends under the same house causes sometimes problems or some kinds of events.

Especially, my domitory was next to the hospital where I was doing clinicals; therefore, students needed to be stuck between hospital and the domitory.

Friends become like a family.

We can not be nice each other on the surface.

We have to be ourselves. We sometimes fight against each other and forgive each other, then we can understand each other more.

We went through many things toghether throughout the domitory life of 3 years, so we can have a good friendship even now.

We lough a lot and can be ourselves without worrying how the other thinks.
It is such a relaxing relationship.

It has been 11 years since we met each other. Are we growing??

There are no Christian friends from High School, nursing school and hospital which I used to work.
It takes really long time, but it has finally become normal for them that I am a Christian. My friends started thinking that Christianity is not abnormal.
You might think it the lowest standard about gospel, but it is still a big stage for them. So I am very thankful to God.

It is a big change!

In Japanese society, people tend to generalize the religion and it is biased like people who depend on the religion is either extremely weak or psychologically crazy.

One of our group member from nursing school is going to get marry on July 25.

None of us can organize a group work well, but I hope we can do well.....

I really want to make the relationship with non-Christian precious. Even if they did not understand God, I believe the time that they can see the real love from God will come sometime.

Lord, please bless our relationship and satisfy with your grace!

16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Collosians 3:16

Nursing Job

I have been working at either Nursing home or ICU in the hospital as a RN since I came back to Japan.

As majority of people know, I really really love a nursing job.

I have been interested, ambitious and joyful in the medical field and been enjoying working as a Nurse.

On the other hand, there are some trials that I need to overvome. I do not remeber Kanji!

I can not write Kanji down as fast as I hear a report of patients from other nurse sometimes.

For example, I could not remeber the Kanji of Application, heals of foot or coccyx...

Therefore, what I did the other day was............ I put the letter of ロ and let people read it as a sound of RO. What is wrong in this picture is that this letter, , can be a mouth as Kanji, but it can be RO sound as Katakana characters. When I looked at the other nurse's paper, I saw Kanji with has ロ mark, but she pronounced Ro Retsu. Since I could not remeber how to write Roretsu with Kanji and saw something of ロ mark, I put ロ so that people can read it as Ro of Katakana. I know it is cheating, but it is still acceptable as long as letters are Japanese. By the way, Roretsu refferes to articulation.

Anyway, not knowing Kanji is pretty embarrasing in Japan; therefore, I practice those once I come home:D

I have been doing good as a nurse, however, I think it is amazing that I have been accepted in the hospital regardless of 4 years' blank activities as a RN in Japan.

If I work in ICU, job related information remabered while working as a full time nurse comes back to me.

People even sometimes ask if I still work at a metaropolitan hospital.

The saff I am working with do not know my educational history. Therefore, they can kick me out if I did not have enough knowledge or skills as much as they expect.

In another word, doing good works is the minimam requirement from hospital.

So, being told that I am a good worker is very gracious thing.

This fact is just amazing gace given from God.

Actually I needed to come back to Japan 2 times a year at least because of finance issue no matter if I want or not. He let me come back and work as a nurse.

He asked me to do it.

However, that was turned into the best. I still remember the nursing job in Japan.

I can work as an even better nurse.

I would completely forget a nursing job based on Japanese system or Japanese based nursing principles in addition to forgetting Kanji characters.

Regardless of my will, God has lead me to Japan and let me work so that I can continually work as a nurse in Japan as well. I can see that was definitely God's plan.

Moreover, I can think that I want to support patients to be healed like Jesus has been healing me. He let me meet different people and give the best care as much as possible.

I love this job!!

God is great!

He controls everything and never leaves us. He takes care of little thing to big thing!

We praise our great God!

Hallelujha!!

How can I repay the LORD for all his goodness to me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD.
I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people. Psalm116:12-14

It has been 6 yrs since I met Christ. I have never imagined how much he blesses my life.

I grew up in a family which did not afford to let a kid go to study abroad.

Our family always had issues about different things.

I also did whatever I wanted to do like the bible story of the parable of the lost son.

Since I met Jesus 6 years ago and repented my sins, God allowed me to have a completely new life and he has blessed my life so much. However, I still did not know he blesses me about this much.

I do not say that I always felt happy and had a hope all the time.

There were so many challenges I needed to overcome and my faith was tested by different kinds of trials.

I even sometimes doubted if I should go back to Japan or quit the school becuase it is too hard for me to survive.

Psalm 116 helped me to remeber what I swore to the Lord before I made a decision about the study abroad.

I still clearly remember what I asked to the Lord at the church in Japan 4 years ago.

" God. I want to helo more people through medical service. I believe I would be able to take care of more people if I could speak English. I have not studied English for a long time and do not have enogh money to finish all schoo work yet. Yet, please help me to accomplish my wish."

God really heard my prayer and helped me to achieve my goal.
He just provided everything I needed. His grace was much more than I imagined.

If you hear the only result of the event, it sounds like such a successful story and I kept receiving his blessing and grace all the time. However, like I said before, it was not such a simple and easy process I needed to go through.

I beliave that the charanges or trials are sometimes essencial for us to grow in our faith.
If we did not get any pain or difficulties in our life, we might not choose the way to ask the Lord to crush our heart, to be humble before him, to depend on him and to be obedient to him.
At least I know that my heart is that hardened and sinful.

If we received the order from the Lord and decided to do it by your faith, we need to make a comittement and fullfill our vow to the Lord.

Even if the plan looks like impossible from our thought, he will accomplish it as long as it is his will.
There were so many things I needed to repent and ask Him to wash away all my sins and my repentance has been continually lasting.

Since we know his purity, we feel embarassed and disappointed about ourselves and look down our self image while comparing our sinful heart to the Lord's perfect righteousness.

Especially when we look down ourselves and have a negative view of our self-image, we might feel annoyed by His commands. " I can not be like that even though you ask me to be holly, gentle, kind or patient!!!!"

When this feeling happend, comarping my life before and after I met Jesus.
He clearly showed the huge diffrence and put my life into his light.

He Also helped me to be guided into his path whenever I was confused in the World.

This scripture is another one which has encouraged my faith.

If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life. Psalm 119:92-93

I dreamed a dream

Our life is not wlways fun or perfect.

We are given emotions which we can enjoy different feelings by God; therefore, we feel frastrated, sad, miserable, regret, joy or happy!

We just experience various kinds of feelings according to the journey that each individuals encounters.

I became 30 years old this year.

Compare to other 30 years old people, I am much more immature and I grew really slowly.

At the same time, 30 years are such a short time compred to the period of the life my host grandfather whose age is 81 has experienced.

However, I feel sometimes I needed to go through many kinds of journey to be just a decent person at the sametime.

I need to proceed 10 steps to learn one thing while pepople usually lean it with just one step.

Recently I was very encouraged by a 48 years old lady from Scottland on TV.
Her singing voice was really amazing!!

It does not matter if how old you are.

The appearance is not the issue either.

People loughed at her before her singing.

Yet, her voice was the best in the world!
Her show started with loud loghing voice of the audiences, but it ended up with highly inspiration to them. Everybody was just amazed by her singing.

Again, her appearance is not really inspiring.

She is not well educated throught her life.

Her dream was to be a singer.

This time, she inspired all of nations by her beautiful voice.

I guess she needed to detour until she accomplish her dream.

However, she told us the dream can be true no matter how old you are.

We do not have to hurry. Even with a slow pace, we do not give up and we keep walking forward to our dream with hope.

The walk with God is likely similar.

We can not sometimes walk straight up to the God's path even though we have already known God.

Or you migh avoid seeking God even though you have desire to know God.

I really leaned that God changed my heart completly and convereted me and lead me to his path since I met him.

I also experienced God is the one who really fulfill his promises exactly like the bible tells us.

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this Psalm 37:5

Our God is the God who gives us the hope!

He keeps leading us straight up to the heaven as long as we chose to live in him and are obedient to God.

Even if people lough at you, look down on you and you feel embarrased, we should hung in there and press things on without doubting him.

I also sometimes feel embarassed because I do not look like 30 and act like a mature 30 years old woman even though I have tried.... Something might be lacking in me so that I do not deserve to be called a 30 years old woman...???

It is not ture. Each of our jouney is different and it is ok.

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Psalm1:1-3
