飛行機からの景色

こんな話を聞きました。 I recently heard this little story.

ある小さな子供が飛行機の窓から眺める景色をみて、お母さんに聞きました。

”ねえ、お母さん？この飛行機動いてる？　外の景色動いてないよ。”

There was a little girl in the plane and she had a question while enjoying the view from the window.

"Mom? Is this plane moving? The view outside of the plane has not been changing."

この会話を通して、いかに私たちの肉の目が、実は見えないものであるかということを教えられます。

We notice how much our eye are not reliable for us to trust through this story.

飛行機は当然のごとくものすごい速さで動いています。

The plane was absolutely flying in the sky with such a high speed.

平均時速６００マイル（１マイルは約１．６キロ）なので、その速さは想像できます。

We can estimate that the speed should be 600mph at least.

しかし私たちの肉眼の目では、景色がそれと同様の速さで動いているようには見えないのです。

However, our eyes can not identify how fast it is sometimes.

私たちの人生もそのようであるととたとえる事ができると、その話をしてくださった人はいいます。

The speaker who shared this story says we can apply this to our life as well.

私たちの目、体験するところでは、祈っていることもかなえられず、困難や苦しみのなかにつかり、主が私たち一人ひとりの人生の中に、ものすごい勢いで祝福を流してくださっているということに気が付かないのです。

We do not realize how much God has been working on each of our life even when we feel nothing has been changed or moved on. We sometimes just feel like we are completely stuck with the difficulties or trials even though God keeps poring and showering his blessing without ceasing.

私たちイエスキリストを信じる者は、主の不変で、消して壊されることのない安全なる飛行機に乗せられて、人生の旅をしています。

We, belivers, are traveling in our life by the plane of God which is ever-lasting and never broken.

しかし、私たちの目はこの子供と同様に、変わらない身の回りの環境から主の働きが見えないくらい頼りのないものなのかも知れません。

However, our eyes just keep focusing on the view we see through the window instead of actual movement God has been delivering.

あなたがたは確かに聞きはするが、決して悟らない。

確かに見てはいるが、決して分からない。

この民の心は鈍くなり、その耳は遠く、

目はつぶっているからである。

それは、彼らがその目で見、その耳で聞き、その心で悟って立ち返り、

わたしにいやされることがないためです。

マタイ１３：１４－１５

You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.
Matthew 13:14-15

だからこそ、そのわたしたち自身の罪の性質をしっかり理解し、神様をもっと知っていくことができるように、それをも神様に助けてもらわないといけないのでしょう。

Therefore, we need to understand our sinful natures and even ask God to let us know Him more with His help.

　

見よ。まことにわたしは新しい天と新しい地を創造する。先の事は思い出されず、心にのぼることもない。

だから、わたしの創造するものを、いついつまでも楽しみ喜べ。

見よ。わたしはエルサレムを創造して喜びとし、その民を楽しみとする。

イザヤ６５：１７ー１８

Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth.

The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.
But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.
