クリスチャン、だから？ Christian, so what?

クリスチャンだから、えらい。　　You are superior because you are christian.
クリスチャンだから、すごい。 You are great because you are christian.
クリスチャンだから、いい子。 You are good because you are christian.
クリスチャンだから、やさしい。 You are kind because you are christian.
クリスチャンだから、素晴らしい。You are wonderful because you are christian.


そういうことでは、ありません。 Those are not true.

神様からの愛というものは、すべての人に与えられています。
Everybody has the right to receive God's love.

そして、クリスチャンだから完璧なのでもありません。
Being Christian does not mean that we become perfect.

私たちは罪人だから、神様の愛、あわれみ、助けが必要なのです。
Since we are sinners, we need help, mercy and love from God.

たとえ自分、家族、友人、私たちがどんなに大切と思えるような人が私たちの側にずっといてくれたとしても、

人では満たすことができない心の領域があります。
Even if you would be able to be with your precious people such as your family, friends or partner, those would not be able to satisfy you completely. Even you can not make yourself satisfied either.

神様にしか、解決できないこと。
There is a portion of our heart that only God can fill up.

それは、私たちの知恵で解決するには限界がある領域なのです。
Our own wisdome is not great enough to solve the issue.

信仰によって受け取る、神様からの救い。
God's salvation that we can receive with our faith can be the only solution to resolve it.

それがなくしては　本当に満たされるということはありえません。
There is no way for us for us to be satisfied without his salvation.

では、人間を造った神様がなぜそのような形で人間を造られたのか？
Then, why did GOd creat a man like that? Why didn't he allow us to have a wisdome to make ourselves satisfied?

聖書にもはっきりかかれています。 Bible clearly answers it.

それは、あなたがたの持つ信仰が、人間の知恵にささえられず、神の力にささえられるためでした。
１コリント２：５
5so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.
I Cor 2:5


神様に主権があります。
Only god has the authority.

神様が私たちの生活、また一人ひとりの命そのものをもご支配されています。
Our daily life or even our life is completely controlled by him.

今ある私たちの生活、仕事、住む場所、着るもの。すべて、自分の力で得たものではないんです。
The life, work, house, clothe,or whatever you have been using and possesing is not there because of your own effort. God provided everything you need.

神さまが必要に応じて、一人ひとりに与えてくださった、神様の恵みの表れです。
He offers those to each of us as needed with his mercy.

クリスチャンは心を豊かにされます。
The heart od Christian is noulished.

クリスチャンは光を得ます。また、力も与えられます。
Christian receives the light and power from God.

だけど、それらは私たちから出ているものではありません。
Those are given to Christian by God, not ourselves.

すべて神のあわれみのゆえです。
Everything is due to God's mercy.

そして、それは誰にでも与えられています。
Everybody is the right to be given.

イエスキリストを信じるものは、このような約束を主が与えてくださっています。
As long as you believe and obey God, he promises to bless our life and we experience the new world which you have never imagined.

まさしく、聖書に書いてあるとおりです。
”目がみたことのないもの。　耳が聞いたことのないもの。　そして、人の心に思い浮かんだことのないもの。神を愛する者のために、神の備えてくださったものは、みなそうである。”
１コリント２：９

However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"
1 Cor 2:9

主は生きておられる God is Alive

久しぶりに母と電話で話していました。
I talked to my mom over the phone today.

昨日は日本の教会の牧師先生の奥さんと話していて、母の信仰の成長について話を伺っていたので、
Since I just talked to my pastor's wife from Japan yesterday, I was relieved to my mom's growth in her faith.
安心はしていたのですが、

母と話してみて、改めて主が生きておられ確かに母の心を変え、生活を変えてくださっているというその
証を本人の口から聞かされた時に、
I , however, became more joyful to directly hear from her that she has been really enjoying learning bible and understanding gospel. She shared that her heart has been changed and her life has been blessed.

主は素晴らしい。
God is wonderful !!

ただただその一言につきました。
I just can only say that.


”宗教にどっぷりつかるんじゃないわよ。教会のこともほどほどにしなさいよ。”
My mom ,who used to tell me that I should not have been involved in religious things deeply or activities from church too much, says totally opposite thing now.

そう言っていた母が、まるで別人のように、
I feel that she is like a different person!

”こんなに神様って働かれるんだなって思って、やっぱりイエス様はすごいわね。”
てまで言うようになったんです。
She even say, " I was amazed to see how much God has been working in my life. Jesus is great!"

先週日本人ミニストリーで学んだ詩篇１３章を電話でともに分かち合い、母の元気な声に励まされました。
Since I learned about Psalm 13 in our JM last Friday, I shared the verse with her as well.

また母は会話の中で、
”ちょっと、聞いてくれる？すごいことがあったのよ。お母さんね、優秀社員で今度表彰されることになったのよ。”
Then she asked me to hear something and she went on..
" Can you listen to one more story? A great thing happend to me recently. I was selected and nominated as a good worker from my company. That cerebration will be next week!"


私の母は以前勤めていた個人経営の会社が閉じられてから、駅の売店で働いていました。
My mom has been working as a seller at the train statin since previous company she used to work was closed.

私はそれをとても恥ずかしく思っていました。
I has been embarrased about my mom's work and used to look her job down.

でも、母は今度売店の優秀働き人として表彰されるんです！！　　ハレルヤ！！
However, she will be honored as a great worked next week!! Hallelujah!!

恥ずかしく思っていた、私自身がとても悔い改めさせられました。
I felt embarassed about myself who used to disrespectful of my mom's job and needed to repent.


私の母は、私の父とのリレーションシップにおいて本当にたくさんの辛い思いを経験してきました。
My mom needed to go through a lot of trials or difficulties in the relationship with my dad and I am sure that she got hurt a lot.

しかし、主はそんな母を今とてもなぐさめてくださっています。感謝です。
However, the Lord has been marciful on her and healing her heart. I am very thankful to God.



そして　なんと、今日私がデボーションでもらった聖句がなんとも母にぴたり：）！！！
Moreover, it is surprising! but the verse I received today from God through my devotion is...

主は、あなたを、夫に捨てられた、心に悲しみのある女と呼んだが、若い時の妻をどうして見捨てられようか？”とあなたの神は仰せられる。
”私はしばらくの間、あなたを見捨てたが、大きなあわれみをもって、あなたを集める。怒りがあふれて、ほんのしばらく、わたしの顔をあなたから隠したが、永遠に変わらぬ愛を持って、あなたをあわれむ。”とあなたを購う主は仰せられる。
イザヤ５４：７－８

The LORD will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit—
a wife who married young, only to be rejected," says your God.
"For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back.
In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness
I will have compassion on you," says the LORD your Redeemer.
Isaiah 54:7-8
